It has been nearly one-hundred years since the last Shinigami and Quincy War... The Soul Society you know has crumbled into a shell of its former self. Those brave few who remain seek to rebuild the greatness it once was, to continue their duty as soul reapers and maintain equilibrium among the living and departed.
Ichigi Kurosaki has long since faded into history as a hero, but his Hollow lives on. In no small part has the demon made the world into the way it is and he has pressured the new generation of Shinigami into preparing for war. However there are some amongst the Shinigami that don't agree with everything done... The Vizored aim to seperate themselves now...
The Quincy too have noticed this, their natural ability to sense Hollows have picked up on the immense spiritual pressure. Even as they rebuild they find themselves targets as well.
Those new Espada that have risen in the absence of Aizen and the former members of their group do not take lightly the power this being has taken from them. Angron Grim leader of the Espada finds his followers joining this new threat and he does not take defection lightly.
Finally the the humans and Fullbringers are the most targeted in this new battle, they are the food source of the 'rogue hollows' as they have been called. And the ones most in need of protection. Still many Fullbringers have proven effective in fighting back, its just a matter of time until it gets worse though.
The Hollow Invasion Arc has begun, choose your side and prepare to face not only the Hollows around you. You will also face your own inner demons.
